Job summary

STGi is seeking a System Specialist to support our Head Start Training and Technical Assistance team in Region 8. The role is remote with up to 50% travel and candidates must reside in CO, MT, ND, SD, UT or WY.

The System Specialist will apply knowledge of local, state, and regional early childhood systems to support cross‑system coordination, and will work with OCC, OHS, Head Start associations, and State Preschool/Public Education Systems within Region 8.

Qualifications

• BA/BS from an accredited university in management, education leadership, or related field.
• Masters degree preferred.
• Experience providing TA to Head Start or related early childhood systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise and resources to Regional/TTA staff to improve cross‑system coordination.
• Coordinate with Head Start associations, State Collaboration Offices, and Departments of Education to enhance collaboration across systems.
• Aggregate and analyze regional data to identify opportunities for cross-system collaboration and issue resolution.
• Develop and deliver presentations and training on systems topics as directed.
