Job summary

STGi is seeking a Grantee Specialist to support the Head Start Training and Technical Assistance team in Region 9. The role is remote with travel up to 50%, requiring on-site work with grant recipients to improve governance, program management, and fiscal operations.

You will deliver intensive TTA, develop corrective action plans, and collaborate with regional staff to advance quality improvements across Head Start programs. Strong analytical, communication, and training skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with Head Start/Early Head Start programs and monitoring protocols.
• Ability to deliver on-site and virtual training and technical assistance to diverse audiences.
• Strong data analysis and corrective action planning skills.
• Experience working with governing bodies, management teams, and program staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of presenting to various audiences.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site, group and virtual TTA to grant recipients on governance, program management and fiscal operations.
• Develop and implement corrective action plans addressing root causes of noncompliance.
• Coordinate TTA with related specialists to integrate education, family services and health services.
• Support data aggregation, analysis, and use of data from multiple sources.
• Create and deliver effective presentations and training materials.
• Maintain regular communication with regional staff on TTA delivery and progress.
