Job summary

STG International, Inc. seeks a Grantee Specialist to support the Head Start Training and Technical Assistance team in Region 2 (NY/NJ).

The role is remote with travel up to 50% and involves on-site TTA to grant recipients, focusing on governance, program management and fiscal operations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Head Start programs, QA/QIP processes, and experience delivering training and consulting to diverse audiences, with excellent communication and data-analysis

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Head Start Act and standards; understanding QIP process.
• Ability to train and consult a range of audiences.
• Strong data analysis and ability to drive decisions from data.
• Experience supporting grant recipients and improving program operations.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site, group and virtual TTA related to governance, program management and fiscal operations.
• Develop corrective action plans addressing root causes of noncompliance.
• Coordinate with region office to integrate management systems and improve education, family services and health services.
• Enter actions and progress into required reporting systems (e.g., SmartHub).
• Travel up to 50% as assigned and work on-site with HS/EHS programs.
