Job summary

Samsara is seeking a Manager II on the US Scale Customer Success team to lead a high-volume portfolio of mid-market and large commercial customers in the private sector. You will build playbooks, improve AI-driven engagement, and coach CSMs to achieve renewal and growth outcomes.

You will oversee a team delivering scalable, data-driven customer success programs, partnering with Sales and Product to maximize adoption and retention while guiding career development in a fast-growing,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Customer Success or Account Management.
• 2+ years of direct people management experience leading CSMs or similar roles with 100+ accounts.
• Demonstrated experience building or significantly redesigning a scale, tech-touch, or digital CS model with measurable retention or expansion outcomes.
• Demonstrated ownership over retention and expansion outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Define segmentation strategy for a high-volume US private-sector portfolio.
• Drive renewal outcomes as the primary lens for decisions.
• Partner with Sales to drive account expansion.
• Work with CS managers to drive breadth and depth of product adoption.
• Hire, develop, and manage a team of CSMs (100+ accounts each).
• Drive productivity through AI, automation, digital programs, lifecycle workflows, and tools.
