Job summary

Precision Medicine Group is seeking an Executive Director of Project Management - Oncology to lead a team of Directors, Project Directors and Project Managers on global oncology studies. Remote work is supported in the United States.

You will drive strategy, optimize resources, oversee budgets and ensure high-quality outcomes across complex trials, with executive accountability for program milestones and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in science or health-related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in clinical research with project management and line management experience.
• Working knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and the clinical development process.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface with a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct Directors, Project Directors and Project Managers across global projects.
• Drive strategy to plan, coordinate and deliver on quality, scope, cost and time objectives.
• Oversee program governance, risk management and escalation processes.
• Interact with study sponsors as primary escalation point beyond PM.
• Ensure profitability and manage resource allocations within budget targets.
• Provide coaching and development for leadership staff and conduct annual performance reviews.
• Support business development, proposals and budgeting activities.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, guidelines and regulatory requirements.
