Job summary

Precision Medicine Group is seeking an Executive Director, Project Management - Oncology to lead a global team of Directors, Project Directors and Project Managers overseeing oncology studies. You will drive strategic planning, governance, and delivery to ensure scope, quality, time and budget targets are met.

The role emphasizes strong sponsor liaison, executive presence, and the ability to optimize profitability while guiding complex programs on a remote, US-based platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in science or health-related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in clinical research with project management and line management.
• Working knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and clinical development process.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Directors, Project Directors and Project Managers in planning and governance of global projects.
• Drive strategy to plan, coordinate, and deliver all activities for designated clinical study projects.
• Optimize profitability and manage resources to meet cost, time, and quality goals.
• Provide coaching and performance reviews for Directors and Project Managers.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Interface with study sponsors as escalation point beyond project management.
• Support business development in proposals and budgeting, bid defense preparation, and attendance.
• Measure KPIs and lead continuous improvement.
