Job summary

Precision Medicine Group seeks a Project Director to lead large, global studies, managing a portfolio for key clients and supporting senior leadership in strategy and execution.

You will direct project managers, oversee budgets, ensure quality and timely delivery, and travel domestically and internationally as required. This role demands 8+ years in clinical research and outstanding cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in science/health field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years in clinical research or proven competencies; 5+ years of PM experience.
• Proficient with MS Office, MS Project, eTMF, EDC and CTMS.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer-service skills.
• Experience managing highly complex and global studies or portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary client liaison for outstanding service, including proposals and presentations.
• Oversee and manage all aspects of one or more clinical trials, ensuring consistency across portfolios.
• Provide direction to project managers on study establishment, planning, initiation, procurement, execution and closing.
• Manage study budgets, scope, and change orders to ensure on-time delivery and profitability.
• Oversee financial health, including profitability, billable hours, and forecasting.
• Develop robust project plans with timelines and risk/change management.
• Ensure quality management and eTMF readiness for assigned projects.
• Prepare status updates for clients and senior management with KPI insights.
• Lead internal and client meetings and drive program-level strategies.
