Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a sales professional to prospect and close new and expanded business with medium-sized clients. This fully remote role in the U.S. targets the Greater Sacramento territory and reports to the Director of Sales.

You will drive the sales cycle from prospecting to close, build relationships, present Paylocity solutions, and work cross-functionally to ensure client success. Compensation includes base plus commissions and benefits.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required. College degree strongly desired.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a sales role and proven sales success.
• Ability to succeed in a competitive environment and maintain high activity.

Responsibilities

• Generate net-new business opportunities in the Sacramento region.
• Schedule and present Paylocity services to prospects.
• Prepare proposals and follow up through the sales cycle.
• Move clients to Paylocity system with smooth transitions.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
