Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a results-driven Sales & Marketing professional to prospect, nurture, and close new business opportunities across the U.S. You will work in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment targeting mid-sized clients (49-499 employees) with a consultative selling approach.

The role is fully remote within the U.S., with five days per week during designated hours; the territory includes the Cleveland area.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in a sales position.
• Proven track record of sales success.
• Ability to succeed in a competitive environment.
• Strong presentation and written/oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications and the Internet.

Responsibilities

• Generate net-new business opportunities and pursue new clients.
• Schedule and present Paylocity services with prospective clients.
• Prepare and present proposals and provide follow-up throughout the sales process.
• Organize and obtain documentation for clients to move to Paylocity system.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth client transition.
• Develop prospects via telemarketing, referrals, and networks.
• Build relationships within Broker channels and other referral sources.
• Maintain contact with existing customers to identify additional service needs.
• Attend trade shows and conferences to promote Paylocity.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas for the territory.
• Other duties as assigned.
