Job summary

Paylocity, a leading provider of cloud-based HR and payroll software, is hiring for a remote Sales role in the Cincinnati territory. You will prospect, build relationships with medium-sized businesses (49-499 employees), and close new and expanded sales agreements in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment.

You will work from home within the U.S., five days a week during core hours, with support from a collaborative Sales & Marketing team led by the Director of Sales.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; college degree strongly desired.
• 3-5 years of sales experience.
• Able to succeed in a competitive environment.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• High activity levels and ability to handle objections.

Responsibilities

• Generate net-new business opportunities via telemarketing, referrals, and networking.
• Schedule and present Paylocity services to prospective clients.
• Prepare proposals and follow up throughout the sales process.
• Coordinate documentation for client onboarding to Paylocity.
• Work with internal teams to ensure smooth client transitions.
• Attend trade shows and events to promote services.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
