Job summary

Datavant is seeking a skilled HCC coder to join our healthcare data platform team. You will review medical records, identify diagnoses, and code them according to ICD-10-CM guidelines to support risk adjustment and payer reimbursement.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of HCC coding experience, strong medical terminology knowledge, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting while delivering high-quality, accurate coding for multiple client projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HCC coding experience.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM coding guidelines.
• Ability to work in a remote environment and manage multiple client projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and time management.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records to identify and code diagnoses per client guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with ICD-10-CM, DRG coding guidelines, and payer policies.
• Maintain a 95% coding accuracy rate.
• Perform other tasks as requested by management.
