Datavant is seeking an experienced HCC coder to review medical records, identify diagnoses, and assign ICD-10 codes per client guidelines. You will contribute to risk adjustment and reimbursement by ensuring accurate coding across multiple projects.

Require 2+ years of HCC coding, strong ICD-10 knowledge, and ability to work in a fast-paced, remote environment. 40 hours per week, with flexible client assignments and adherence to accuracy targets.

Formación

• Minimum of 2 years' HCC coding.
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10.
• Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, abbreviations, pharmacology and disease processes.
• Must work independently, meet deadlines and follow instructions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including remote work capability.
• Must commit to 40 hours weekly.
• Ability to work on multiple client projects.
• AHIMA or AAPC credentials required (RHIA/RHIT/CCS or CPC/CPC-H/COC/CIC/CRC; CPC-As accepted with CRC).

Responsabilidades

• Review medical records to identify and code diagnoses using client guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with ICD-10-CM, DRGs, third-party policies, regulations, and accreditation guidelines.
• Maintain a 95% coding accuracy rate.
• Perform any other tasks requested by management.
