Job summary

Datavant is seeking an HCC coder to review medical records and assign accurate ICD-10 codes following project guidelines. You will ensure adherence to ICD-10-CM rules, DRG guidelines, and client policies while maintaining high coding accuracy.

The role supports remote work, requires at least 2 years of HCC coding experience, and AHIMA or AAPC credentials. You will contribute to data security and efficient risk adjustment processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years' HCC coding experience.
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10 CM coding guidelines.
• Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced production environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work remotely.
• AHIMA or AAPC credentials (RHIA/RHIT/CCS or CPC/CPC-H/COC/CIC/CRC) are preferred; CPC-As accepted with CRC.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and code diagnostic information in patient records per project guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with ICD-10-CM, DRGs guidelines, and client policies.
• Maintain a 95% coding accuracy rate.
• Perform any other tasks requested by management.
