Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of HCC coding experience.
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10.
• Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, abbreviations, pharmacology, and disease processes.
• Ability to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to work remotely and manage time effectively.
• Working knowledge of computer hardware/software for data processing and security.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records to identify and code diagnoses per project guidelines.
• Ensure coding complies with ICD-10-CM, DRGs, and payer regulations.
• Maintain a 95% coding accuracy rate.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
