Job summary

Datavant is seeking an HCC Auditor who will review medical records coded in standardized systems to ensure accurate patient condition representation for risk adjustment and reimbursement. You will translate clinical documentation into precise codes reflecting health status, and confirm the accuracy of the work.

You will audit charts, adapt to multiple client guidelines, and maintain high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years' HCC coding experience required.
• 2 years' HCC auditing experience required.
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10 required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Audit coded charts assigned by quality supervisor per client guidelines.
• Move between different client guideline sets with ease.
• Maintain a 95% quality average at a diagnosis level.
• Respond to rebuttals entered on audits by coders or auditors.
• Participate in weekly coding project review meetings.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the quality supervisor.
