Job summary

You will research viable opportunities, connect with organizational contacts, and schedule discovery calls for the Director of Business Development.

This role supports the university’s growth strategy and may be remote or hybrid, with occasional travel and reporting to the Director of Business Development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution required.
• 2+ years in sales, business development, marketing, admissions, or recruiting.
• Experience in higher education or learning-related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Research and prospect strategic partners and verticals to support growth.
• Outreach to connect with decision makers for discovery calls and meetings.
• Support remote or hybrid outreach efforts for partnerships.
• Represent Excelsior University at conferences and events.
• Coordinate partner meetings and maintain partner lists in SharePoint.
• Track partner and student activities via Salesforce and report updates.
• Convey Excelsior's programs to align workforce needs with solutions.
