Job summary

Zenius Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Business Development Research Assistant to support the Growth Team with opportunity tracking, market research, and business development data management. This role focuses on gathering publicly available information to support business development planning.

You will maintain the opportunity tracker, monitor updates, research target agencies, identify teaming partners, and prepare weekly summaries for review, using strong Excel and internet

Qualifications

• Experience in research, administrative support, business development support, or data management preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and internet research.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow research criteria and maintain accurate records.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with government contracting or procurement research is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review opportunity listings using keywords, agencies, and criteria provided by the Growth Team.
• Maintain the opportunity tracker with solicitation links, deadlines, points of contact, and basic requirements.
• Monitor updates and amendments to selected opportunities and flag changes.
• Research target agencies, including their missions, upcoming industry days, and published procurement forecasts.
• Research potential teaming partners and document their capabilities, certifications, and contact information.
• Gather publicly available information on incumbent contractors and previous contract awards.
• Maintain BD contact and company records, identifying duplicates or missing information.
• Prepare weekly research summaries for Growth Team review.
