Job summary

Wesco is seeking a Business Development Manager with strong utility, high-voltage, and sales experience to drive growth across energy and data center markets. You will identify new opportunities, develop business plans, and expand product lines while enhancing customer satisfaction.

You will travel extensively to engage with key customers and suppliers, lead implementations, and negotiate partnerships to strengthen Wesco's competitive position in the industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of sales, negotiation, and financial analysis experience.
• Ability to identify and cultivate external resources and key decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities to expand profitability.
• Retain and expand relationships, solicit new business from customers and suppliers.
• Lead and coordinate research to identify new markets and opportunities.
• Establish relationships with customers and suppliers and arrange meetings.
• Travel 50% - 75% to meet clients and support deployments.
• Represent Wesco in acquisitions, partnerships, and joint ventures.
• Conduct roll out meetings at key customer locations.
• Oversee implementation teams and cost-savings initiatives.
