Job summary

BayNova is seeking a Director, Growth to lead the end-to-end Federal proposal development lifecycle and serve as a senior leader within the growth organization. The role ensures compliant, high-quality proposals and helps mature people, processes, tools, and content that support sustained growth across Federal Civilian, Health, and DoD markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of Federal government proposal management, capture, BD, or growth operations.
• Demonstrated success leading complex Federal proposals under FAR-based procurements.
• Strong understanding of Federal proposal best practices and compliance.
• Experience across Federal Civilian agencies and/or the DoD.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the complete proposal lifecycle from qualification through submission and lessons learned.
• Write Technical and Management sections to respond to customer requirements.
• Develop proposal schedules, matrices, outlines, and production plans.
• Manage proposal teams including pricing, contracts, and executives.
• Drive proposal strategy, win themes, and customer-focused content.
• Ensure compliance with solicitation requirements and evaluation criteria.
• Coordinate color team reviews and incorporate reviewer feedback.
• Maintain proposal repositories, templates, and past performance libraries.
• Analyze metrics and implement continuous improvements to increase win rates.
