Job summary

Integrated Power USA, TotalEnergies' integrated power platform, is shaping the energy transition by building and operating solar, wind, storage, and thermal assets across the U.S. This role focuses on SCADA/OT/IT operations for utility-scale power generation, addressing grid integration, cybersecurity, and data integrity with partners and internal teams.

The position can sit in Austin or Houston or be remote in the USA; travel is limited to about one week per quarter.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on SCADA/OT/IT experience for utility-scale power in the U.S.
• Strong Ignition SCADA expertise (implementation & maintenance).
• Experience with SCADA protocols and infrastructure (MODBUS, DNP3, OPC, TCP/IP, serial, fiber, switches, firewalls).
• Solid networking fundamentals (routing, VPNs, firewalls).
• Experience integrating substation devices, array devices, and RTUs.
• Familiarity with NERC compliance from a SCADA/OT perspective.
• Fluent English and a valid U.S. driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Enforce HSE policy and ensure external parties comply with TotalEnergies standards.
• Collaborate with SCADA/IT vendors, EPCs, O&M, equipment manufacturers, utilities and internal teams for grid integration and cybersecurity.
• Lead SCADA implementation and O&M on utility-scale projects with various technologies.
• Follow TERUSA standards for SCADA, OT/IT and cybersecurity.
• Review vendor submittals for internal compliance.
• Ensure compliance with internal IT and cybersecurity standards.
• Implement third-party data integrations (API, SFTP, OPC-UA/DA) for real-time data streams.
• Build tools for automated data acquisition and performance analysis from SCADA data.
• Ensure PPC operation meets grid integration and operational requirements.
• Manage project documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Travel about 1 week per quarter; participate in on-call rotation.
• Adhere to the Company's Code of Conduct.
