Job summary

ENGIE North America is seeking a Remote Operations Control Center Operator in Houston. You will manage 24/7 remote monitoring of a standalone BESS across ERCOT and CAISO markets, coordinating maintenance remotely and signaling field teams as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or a technical certificate in electrical/instrumentation controls.
• Experience with SCADA systems or similar software.
• Experience in remote operations/control room environments in power/energy sectors.
• Knowledge of HSE protocols and adherence to safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Safe operations via check-in/check-out with field staff and SCADA engagement.
• Grid-facing monitoring and coordination with TDSP/ISO interfaces.
• Remote asset operations including planned maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Performance monitoring with diagnostics and cross-functional coordination.
