Job summary

Deriva Energy is seeking a Remote Operations Center Supervisor based in Charlotte, NC. You will oversee day-to-day entry of day-ahead and real-time generating unit offers across ERCOT, PJM, SPP and CAISO, coordinating outages and real-time commitments.

You will maintain logs, provide immediate alerts for unusual events, and report to the Remote Operations Center Manager. The role requires knowledge of NERC GOP, market participation and a strong ability to coordinate with wind, solar and storage

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in engineering, business or related field with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• In lieu of an Associate's degree, High School/GED AND 5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Verify and submit meter data to ISO (ERCOT, SPP, PJM, CAISO) the morning after the day of flow.
• Maintain daily logs of system events and provide timely notifications.
• Prepare daily reports and liaise with NERC Compliance Team.
• Develop tools and best practices for renewable operators.
• Assist outage scheduling team with workable outage schedules.
