Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in control systems in the gas or steam turbine industry, or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Solid understanding of Grid Code fundamentals: droop control, frequency response, RoCoF, and governor modeling.
• Field experience in commissioning or maintenance is a significant asset.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software libraries that enable our turbines to meet grid operator requirements (Grid Codes) and ensure high‑performance frequency response.
• Ensure the technical integration of your developments within the global control system, including PLCs, Human‑Machine Interfaces (HMI), electrical cabinets, and automation tools.
• Simulate and validate solutions using advanced simulation platforms and multi‑physics modeling tools prior to site commissioning.
• Provide technical support to project, execution, and customer support teams, specifically in the analysis and resolution of complex issues.
• Collaborate closely with various engineering teams to define technical specifications, lead design reviews, and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by applying Lean principles and optimizing tools, methods, and processes, in alignment with GE Vernova's standards and values.
