Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electric Power Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• 0 to 2 years of experience in Engineering and/or Product Management in the Power Generation industry.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute engineering studies involving generator and governor performance, controls, and grid requirements.
• Develop, verify, and validate electrical load flow and dynamic models used to represent generating facilities.
• Support testing and data collection at power plants.
• Analyze test and simulation results to identify discrepancies and refine models.
• Develop engineering calculations, reports, presentations, and technical documents.
• Work with experienced engineers to troubleshoot technical problems and develop solutions.
• Travel to customer sites when required.
