Job summary

UMass Amherst's Donahue Institute seeks a Grantee Specialist to deliver training, consultation, and technical assistance to Head Start recipients. You will guide program planning, fiscal management and governance, working under the direction of the ACF Regional Office.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; continuous learning if degree older than 10 years.
  • 5+ years in program/organizational management or fiscal operations in HS/EHS.
  • Experience delivering trainings and TA, in person or online; proficient with virtual platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Provide training and technical assistance to Head Start recipients on governance, planning and fiscal operations.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans with regional leadership.
  • Coordinate with other specialists to integrate management systems across education, health and family services.
  • Maintain timely communication with regional staff and document TA events and outcomes.
  • Travel as required to support regional OHS initiatives and recipient sites.
