Job summary

STGi is seeking an Early Childhood Specialist (ECS) to support our Head Start Training and Technical Assistance team in Region 8 (CO/MT). The position is remote with travel up to 50% as assigned and requires frequent collaboration with HS/EHS recipients.

The ECS provides expert guidance in early childhood education, supports curriculum and assessment implementation, and partners with local agencies to strengthen school readiness and family engagement across birth to five.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education/development or related field.
• Minimum five years of direct experience with young children and providing technical assistance.
• CLASS TOT certification is required.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and deliver TTA across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site, group, or virtual TTA to HS/EHS recipients on school readiness and family engagement.
• Develop and implement family engagement practices in line with PFCE framework.
• Coordinate TTA with Grantee, Family Engagement, and Health Specialists as directed.
• Maintain timely communication and document progress in required reporting systems.
• Facilitate meetings and trainings for diverse audiences, including virtual formats.
• Support data-driven decisions by analyzing program data and outcomes.
