Electric Power Research Institute, Inc. is seeking a Leader, Government Capture in Charlotte/Remote to guide government engagement and funding strategy across sectors.

You will identify opportunities, assess eligibility, and coordinate with GAEs, legal, contracts, and proposal teams. The role requires experience in energy sector government funding, strong executive communication, and willingness to travel for agency engagements and industry days.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physical sciences, energy, business, public policy, economics, or a related discipline required; advanced degree preferred.
• Substantial relevant experience in electricity/energy, government business development, capture, or related field.
• Experience evaluating funding opportunities, developing capture strategies, supporting Go/No-Go decisions, or contributing to complex government proposals.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as Government Engagement’s primary Capture partner for sector management, program leadership, and technical staff.
• Map opportunities to sector programs and prepare concise opportunity assessments for internal review.
• Lead development of capture plans, customer strategy, win themes, and internal action plans for approved pursuits.
• Coordinate handoff to Proposal Development with requirements, personnel, budgets, risks, and deadlines.
• Support cross-functional teams to reduce risk, ensure compliance, and enable timely submissions.
• Maintain accurate opportunity status, decisions, risks, owners, and next actions.
