Job summary

RecruitGo, a leading Employer of Record, seeks a Proposal Manager to lead government and commercial proposal development from solicitation analysis through final submission.

You will coordinate technical, program, finance, sales, and leadership teams to develop compliant, persuasive proposals for clean-energy programs.

This remote, full-time role requires strong writing, editing, and project coordination skills, with experience in government or utility procurement preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proposal development/management experience.
• Experience developing government and/or commercial proposals.
• Strong technical writing and editing skills.
• Experience managing multiple proposals concurrently.
• Strong coordination and deadline-management abilities.
• Familiarity with MS Office and PDF workflows.
• Understanding of clean energy or sustainability a plus.
• Ability to operate across all U.S. time zones.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposals end to end from RFP review through final submission.
• Develop schedules, work plans, and submission timelines.
• Coordinate activities across sales, program, finance, technical SMEs, and leadership.
• Manage multiple proposals under tight deadlines.
• Maintain version control and proposal documentation.
• Ensure compliance with solicitation requirements, formatting, and submission rules.
• Write and edit technical approaches, staffing plans, past performance narratives, and executive summaries.
• Translate technical information into clear, persuasive content; develop win themes.
• Coordinate reviews, approvals, and final production; ensure consistency across sections.
• Maintain reusable content and templates; manage content in proposal platforms; support pricing; track deadlines.
