Job summary

The candidate should hold a PhD or MSc in mechanical or aerospace engineering (or equivalent) with 2–3 years of GNC experience, or substantial hands-on GNC expertise, and possess Python/Julia/MATLAB skills along with a security clearance.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in mechanical or aerospace engineering with 2–3 years of professional GNC experience, or substantial hands-on GNC.
• Strong C++ skills for embedded environments.
• Experience with ADCS and precision pointing in spacecraft.
• Experience with spacecraft flight operations.
• US Government security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement GNC architectures and algorithms in an embedded C++ environment.
• Define requirements for ADCS hardware and related systems for existing missions and roadmaps.
• Analyze and simulate mission-specific GNC performance.
• Collaborate on offline geolocation processing pipeline.
• Support software- and hardware-in-the-loop test planning, execution, and validation.
