Job summary

Muon Space, Inc. is seeking a senior GNC engineer to design and implement guidance, navigation, and control architectures in an embedded C++ environment.

You will define ADCS requirements and analyze mission-specific performance, while collaborating on offline geolocation processing pipelines and test planning for software- and hardware-in-the-loop validation. The role supports remote work from an approved location and requires a PhD or MSc in mechanical or aerospace engineering (or equivalent)

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent, plus 2–3 years of professional experience, OR several years of hands-on GNC experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement guidance, navigation & control architectures and algorithms in embedded C++.
• Define requirements for ADCS algorithms, hardware, and related systems for existing missions and roadmaps.
• Perform analysis and simulation of mission-specific GNC performance.
• Collaborate on the development of an offline geolocation processing pipeline.
• Support software- and hardware-in-the-loop test planning, execution, and validation.
