Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Sr. Director of Global Time & Pay to lead payroll, time & attendance, and compliance for a 60,000+ employee, multi-country organization.

This remote role partners with HR, Legal, Finance, IT, and business leaders to drive governance, transformation, and industry-leading service levels. Responsibilities include developing the global operating model, optimizing vendor strategies, and delivering a scalable, compliant Time & Pay platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership in Global Time & Pay, Payroll Operations, or related functions.
• Experience leading multi-country operations and global teams.
• Proven payroll transformation experience including operating model redesign and automation.
• Deep expertise in payroll operations, workforce management, and timekeeping practices across regions.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for global Time & Pay services across 60,000+ employees in 50+ countries.
• Define and execute the global Time & Pay operating model, vendor strategy, and technology roadmap.
• Establish governance frameworks, policies, controls for payroll compliance and SOX.
• Oversee global payroll, workforce management, and technology vendor partnerships; monitor SLAs/KPIs.
• Lead transformation, automation, and digital initiatives to improve efficiency and controls.
• Build and mentor a high-performing, globally dispersed team with a focus on integrity and discretion.
