Job summary

CIEE Global Navigator High School Study Abroad seeks Program Leaders to mentor and supervise high school students on short-term study abroad programs. This full-time, residential role requires 24/7 availability to support safety, well-being, accountability, and community.

You will chaperone travel, oversee activities, partner with local staff, and foster an inclusive, culturally responsive environment. A Bachelor's degree, 21+ years, willingness to travel, and visa ability are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience working with high school students in educational or leadership roles.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally and meet visa requirements.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and supervise high school students on summer study abroad programs.
• Provide academic, social, emotional, and behavioral support and maintain professional boundaries.
• Monitor student wellbeing and safety and respond to homesickness or culture shock per protocol.
• Chaperone activities, excursions, and daily program operations with accountability and compliance.
• Foster an inclusive, culturally responsive community and facilitate reflection.
• Collaborate effectively with students, families, instructors, and local staff.
