Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Director of Global Security to lead enterprise security strategy and operations across regions. The role focuses on protecting people, facilities, assets, and continuity, with executive protection and travel security as key elements.

The role reports to the Senior Director of Global EHS and is part of the Global EHS Team, with a fully remote work arrangement. Travel up to 40%–60% is required, including international destinations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 20+ years of security, law enforcement, military, intelligence, or corporate risk/security experience.
• 10+ years leading teams and enterprise‑level security programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead global security strategy and operations to protect employees, facilities, assets, and business continuity.
• Establish security policies, standards, and operating models across regions.
• Standardize risk assessments and mitigate site security risks including access control and surveillance.
• Support crisis management, incident response, and business continuity for major events.
• Define executive protection strategies and travel security aligned with Danaher protocols.
• Collaborate with EHS, Legal, HR, IT and Operations in a cross‑functional environment.
