Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Director of Global Security to lead enterprise security strategy and operations. The role is remote, travels 40–60% internationally, and reports to the Senior Director of Global EHS.

You will build world-class security programs, manage risks, protect facilities/assets, and coordinate with EHS, Legal, HR, IT, and Operations to ensure continuity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, International Relations, Business, Emergency Management, or related field.
• 20+ years of relevant security experience in security, law enforcement, military, intelligence, or corporate risk/security.
• 10+ years of leadership experience managing teams and enterprise security programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead global security strategy across regions and enterprise risk management.
• Define security policies, standards, and operating models aligned to business priorities.
• Standardize site risk assessments, asset protection, and physical security systems.
• Support crisis management, incident response, and business continuity planning.
• Develop executive protection and travel security programs aligned with Danaher protocols.
• Collaborate with EHS, Legal, HR, IT and Operations in cross-functional initiatives.
