Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Director of Global Security to lead the worldwide security program protecting people, facilities, and continuity across regions. This role reports to the Senior Director of Global EHS and is fully remote, enabling strategic influence across the organization.

You will define security policies, manage risk, oversee physical security and crisis response, and partner with EHS, Legal, HR, IT and Operations to align security with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 20+ years in security, law enforcement, military, intelligence, or corporate risk/security; 10+ years of leadership in enterprise security programs.
• Master’s degree or CPP/PSP/PCI certifications preferred.
• Experience in multinational corporate environment and with executive protection and travel risk programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and prioritize global security risks as part of enterprise risk & threat management.
• Establish security policies, standards, and operating models across regions and align with business priorities.
• Standardize site security risk assessments and mitigation plans; oversee physical security systems.
• Support crisis management, incident response, business continuity, and executive escalation.
• Define and provide executive protection strategies and travel security program elements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with EHS, Legal, HR, IT and Operations.
