Job summary

StackAdapt Inc. is seeking an experienced Global Payroll Specialist to own end-to-end payroll across multiple entities and countries.

You will ensure compliance, perform reconciliations, and drive process improvements using automation and AI tools, in collaboration with Finance, People Experience, and Legal. The role involves managing external providers (Deel, ADP, Rippling), coordinating year-end activities, and supporting a broad payroll transformation across regions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on UK payroll experience, with multi-entity or global payroll operations.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll processing for 6 global entities across the UK, Ireland, Germany, Singapore, Japan, and Australia, and EOR employees managed through Deel.
• Manage and monitor multi-jurisdiction payroll compliance, including payroll taxes, statutory requirements, filings, year-end activities, and regulatory changes across supported countries.
• Perform and oversee payroll reconciliations, variance analysis, payroll controls, and exception handling to identify and resolve issues before payroll is finalized.
• Manage relationships with external payroll providers and partners, including issue resolution and service delivery.
• Support payroll audits, statutory requirements, reporting, and year-end activities across supported jurisdictions.
• Partner with Finance, People Experience, and Legal to resolve complex payroll matters and support a strong employee experience.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls, reporting, and workflows, including leveraging automation and AI-enabled tools to reduce manual reporting and reconciliation activities.
• Partner with the Finance team on the ongoing payroll transformation, including process redesign, data migration, configuration validation, parallel testing, UAT, and implementation activities related to the transition to Rippling.
• Proactively identify payroll risks and elevate complex or high-impact issues with clear recommendations and supporting analysis.
