Job summary

Anaconda, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate, on-time global payroll across all countries we operate in. You will run payroll, optimize processes with AI, and drive faster, smarter workflows while staying compliant with tax and labor laws.

You’ll work with finance and People teams, implement pre-payroll checks, manage leaves, equity-based awards, garnishments, and benefit deductions, and support audits. This is a high-impact, globally distributed role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing payroll for 500+ employees across multiple countries.
• Working knowledge of US and international payroll tax, labor law, and statutory reporting.
• Experience with a global payroll HRIS platform and strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for US and multi-country employees with in-country providers.
• Calculate wages and equity-based awards and variable pay.
• Handle garnishments, deductions, off-cycle runs, and other adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with tax and labor rules; file payroll tax reports.
