Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. seeks a Proofreader – Global Labeling to ensure 100% accuracy and regulatory compliance of labeling for medical devices. You will review art, labels, IFUs, and multi-language inserts against source copy, flag errors, and guide artwork corrections to meet global standards.

The role requires strong proofreading skills, GDP/QMS literacy, and collaboration with regulatory and design teams to maintain compliant, audit-ready documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical discipline with strong writing skills.
• 2+ years of proofreading experience in a highly regulated environment.
• Experience with labeling, regulatory standards, and GDP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proofreads labeling and packaging graphics for accuracy and localization.
• Ensures compliance with GDP, QMS, and regulatory standards (FDA EU MDR).
• Works with design, regulatory, and engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Reviews artwork, symbols (ISO 15223), and multi-language inserts for zero defects.
• Maintains change control documentation and supports labeling updates.
• Provides actionable feedback to graphic designers on artwork corrections.
• Supports global labeling components to comply with evolving regulations.
