Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Proofreader – Global Labeling to ensure 100% accuracy of global labeling and packaging graphics for medical devices. You will compare typescript to proofs, flag errors, and provide actionable feedback to designers to align with brand and regulatory standards.

The role requires collaboration with labeling engineers, regulatory affairs, and engineering liaisons to resolve discrepancies and maintain GDP-compliant records in the QMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, Journalism, Life Sciences, or related technical discipline.
• 2+ years proofreading experience in regulated packaging or medical devices preferred.
• Experience in in-house labeling or regulated packaging preferred.
• Proficient with Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, and PDF comparison software.
• Familiarity with PLM/SAP/Windchill/Agile is a plus.
• Strong visual acuity and ability to manage high-detail comparisons.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Verify artwork & document packages for releases, ensuring inputs, source files, and translations are aligned.
• Adhere to GDP and maintain audit-ready records in QMS.
