Cardinal Health is seeking a Proofreader – Global Labeling to ensure 100% accuracy and regulatory compliance of labeling for medical devices. You will verify artwork, control documentation, and translations, while collaborating with labeling engineers and regulatory teams to resolve discrepancies.

This role emphasizes GDP, QMS discipline, and precise feedback to designers. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in regulated proofreading, with strong Acrobat and PDF tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline preferred.
• 2+ years of professional proofreading in regulated environments.
• Experience in in-house labeling or regulated packaging preferred.
• Strong hands-on with Acrobat, Office and PDF comparison tools.
• Familiarity with document control systems and PLM software is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and proofreading precision for multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Verify artwork and documents for labeling releases and translations.
• Ensure GDP compliance and maintain audit-ready records in QMS.
• Collaborate with originators, labeling engineers, and regulatory teams.
• Proofread product labeling, symbols, and multi-language inserts for zero defects.
• Support regulatory updates to comply with FDA EU requirements.
• Lead proofreading within project timelines and manage change packages.
