Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks a Proofreader – Global Labeling to ensure 100% accuracy in labeling and packaging graphics for critical medical devices. You will verify artwork, language, and regulatory compliance against brand guidelines and country requirements.

You will collaborate with labeling engineers, regulatory affairs, and design partners to resolve issues, ensuring alignment with FDA and EU standards while supporting continuous improvement in QMS documentation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional proofreading experience, preferably in regulated packaging or medical devices.
• Strong command of English language and grammar with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate markup feedback constructively to design partners.

Responsibilities

• Verify artwork documentation and translation data for accuracy and alignment.
• Ensure GDP and regulatory compliance within QMS documentation.
• Collaborate with labeling engineers, regulatory affairs and engineering to resolve packaging discrepancies.
• Proofread product labeling, regulatory symbols (ISO 15223), and multi-language inserts for zero defects.
• Support global labeling updates to comply with FDA and EU regulations.
• Lead proofreading within project timelines to avoid discrepancies between source and proofs.
