Optomi, in partnership with a client, seeks a Director of IT Infrastructure & Operations to lead enterprise infrastructure across a global environment, focusing on Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, data centers, and MSP oversight.

The role drives a hybrid internal operating model, oversees distributed teams, vendor relationships, security, and compliance (SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA), and strategic initiatives including cloud migrations, data center buildouts, and M&A integrations.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of IT infrastructure leadership experience.
• Experience leading enterprise technology environments.
• Proven success managing MSP relationships and global teams.

Responsabilités

• IT Infrastructure Oversight: Lead enterprise infrastructure, including Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, security, data centers, and cloud operations.
• MSP Management & Transition: Oversee outsourced IT providers and lead the transition toward a hybrid internal IT operating model.
• Team Leadership: Manage infrastructure engineers, IT project managers, and systems engineers while overseeing distributed onshore/offshore teams.
• IT Service Delivery & Operations: Ensure efficient daily operations, including help desk services, onboarding/offboarding, access management, endpoint management, and incident resolution.
• Strategic Project Management: Lead major initiatives, including M&A integrations, data center buildouts, cloud migrations, and infrastructure modernization.
• Security & Compliance: Oversee cybersecurity, data loss prevention (DLP), vulnerability management, and compliance with SOC 2, GDPR, and HIPAA.
• Executive & Business Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with executive leadership and business stakeholders to align IT strategy with business goals, manage budgets, improve service delivery, and drive operational efficiency.
