Job summary

Vision Government Solutions seeks a Sr. Manager of IT to lead a geographically distributed team across network, security, application configuration and support for internal helpdesk, datacenters, and Azure hosting facilities.

The Director role requires hands-on delivery of daily IT projects, innovation, and budget management. The ideal candidate will drive scalable, secure, and timely IT operations, and oversee governance and integration activities for acquisitions, while building a strong team

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive IT experience with hands-on infrastructure or application management.
• Experience managing hybrid cloud environments (Azure preferred) and on‑premises infrastructure.
• Leadership in cybersecurity management and governance activities.
• Experience forecasting IT budgets, software licensing, and vendor decisions.
• Experience leading distributed teams across multiple locations.
• Strong data‑driven decision making using metrics.
• Experience performing M&A due diligence, integration planning, and forecasting.
• Strong written and visual communication for executive presentations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
