Pan Atlantic Foundation is seeking an International Area Representative for its High School Exchange Program. This flexible, entry-level, 1099 role involves recruiting host families, guiding them through applications, and providing ongoing support to ensure successful student exchanges.

You will build relationships with local schools, conduct in-home interviews, and coordinate orientation and check-ins, benefiting from remote work options and a part-time schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build trust with families, schools and students from diverse backgrounds.
• Comfortable conducting in-home visits and interviews.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and manage time.
• Reliable transportation for local travel to schools and host family homes.
• Basic computer literacy for online documentation and applications.

Responsabilités

• Identify and recruit prospective host families within the assigned area to support international student exchange programs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local schools to raise awareness of student exchange opportunities.
• Promote public awareness of exchange programs through community outreach and engagement activities.
• Guide prospective host families through the online application process on the organization's website.
• Conduct in-home interviews with potential host families and verify references to ensure suitability.
• Facilitate host family orientations prior to student arrival to set expectations and provide program guidance.
• Perform monthly check-ins with host families and students via phone calls or in-person visits.
• Document all interactions, check-ins, and progress reports accurately in the online system.
