Job summary

Workiva Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior General Ledger Accounting Manager to lead the statutory reporting across international entities and drive accuracy in the general ledger.

You will oversee a team of accountants, coordinate with CAO, Legal, auditors, and other parties, and deliver monthly management reporting for Finance leadership. You will influence across Finance, ensure strong internal controls, and advance close governance using automation and AI-driven tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including in publicly traded companies.
• 3 years of direct people management experience.
• CPA or equivalent certification (preferred).
• Operational and technical accounting knowledge of US GAAP and local GAAP.
• Experience preparing, reviewing, or providing oversight for financial statements and statutory reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end oversight of annual statutory reporting across international entities (US GAAP to local GAAP).
• Lead and develop a team of direct reports and contractors.
• Review close deliverables for balance sheet areas and prepare journal entries and reconciliations.
• Deliver monthly management reporting and executive reviews for Finance leadership.
• Advise business partners on financial matters and drive governance and process improvements.
