Job summary

Workiva Inc. seeks a Senior General Ledger Accounting Manager to lead the statutory reporting across international entities and strengthen the closed processes. The role partners with CAO, Legal, auditors, and internal teams to ensure accuracy and governance.

You will manage a team of accountants, drive month-end close efficiency, and deliver management reports for Finance leadership. Strong technical accounting and leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including publicly traded companies.
• 3 years of direct people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end oversight of annual statutory reporting across international entities.
• Lead and develop a team of direct reports including staff and contractors.
• Review month-, quarter-, and year-end close deliverables for balance sheet areas.
• Deliver monthly management reporting and executive reviews for Finance leadership.
• Conclude on complex transactions under local GAAP and partner on US GAAP treatment.
• Advise business partners on financial guidance across functions.
• Drive close optimization and governance with automation and AI-driven tools.
• Communicate close results and statutory reporting status to management.
• Develop, maintain, and improve accounting policies and process documentation.
• Lead cross-functional projects including system enhancements and onboarding of new entities.
