Job summary

Workiva is seeking a Senior General Ledger Accounting Manager to lead international statutory reporting, ensuring GAAP compliance and accurate financial statements across multiple entities. You will guide a team of accountants, coordinate with the CAO office, auditors, and other third parties, and drive close governance improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
• 8+ years progressive accounting experience, including publicly traded companies.
• 3+ years direct people management experience.
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end oversight of annual statutory reporting across international entities.
• Lead and develop a team of direct reports and contractors.
• Review month-, quarter-, and year-end close deliverables in key balance sheet areas.
• Deliver monthly management reporting and executive reviews for Finance leadership.
• Support close optimization and governance; work with Technical Accounting on US GAAP treatment.
• Partner with business units to provide financial guidance on new activities.
