Workiva, Inc. in Ames, IA is seeking a Senior General Ledger Accounting Manager to oversee statutory reporting across international entities and lead a team of accountants.

You will ensure the integrity of core GL areas and coordinate with CAO, Legal, auditors, and third parties. You will drive close optimization, review balance sheet accounts, and deliver monthly management reporting, while mentoring staff and improving accounting policies and processes.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including in publicly traded companies.
• 3 years of direct people management experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide end-to-end oversight of annual statutory reporting across international entities.
• Lead and develop a team of direct reports.
• Review month-, quarter-, and year-end close deliverables for critical balance sheet areas.
• Deliver monthly management reporting and executive reviews.
• Conclude on complex transactions under local GAAP and partner with Technical Accounting on US GAAP treatment.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to business partners for financial guidance.
• Drive close optimization and governance with automation and AI-driven tools.
• Communicate close results and statutory reporting status to management.
• Develop, maintain, and improve accounting policies and process documentation.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives including system enhancements.
