Job summary

Workiva Inc. seeks a Senior General Ledger Accounting Manager to oversee statutory reporting for our international entities. You will guide a team of accountants, ensure accurate US GAAP to local GAAP adjustments, and drive close governance with automation and AI tools.

You will partner with CAO, Legal, auditors, and cross-functional teams to deliver monthly reporting and executive reviews, shaping accounting policies and controls. Strong leadership and technical accounting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including in publicly traded companies.
• 3 years of direct people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end oversight of statutory reporting across international entities.
• Lead and develop a team of accountants and contractors.
• Review close deliverables for critical balance sheet areas.
• Deliver monthly management reporting and executive reviews.
• Conclude on complex transactions with local GAAP andUS GAAP considerations.
• Partner with business units to provide financial guidance.
• Drive close optimization and governance with automation/AI tools.
• Communicate close results and statutory reporting status to management.
• Develop and improve accounting policies and process documentation.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and system enhancements.
