Job summary

Workiva, Inc. is seeking a Senior General Ledger Accounting Manager to lead the General Ledger Accounting team, oversee statutory reporting across international entities, and ensure accuracy of key GL areas.

Reporting to the Director of General Ledger Accounting, you will develop a high-performing team, optimize close processes, and partner with CAO, Legal, auditors, and business partners to drive accurate financial results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including in publicly traded companies.
• 3 years of direct people management experience.
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Operational and technical accounting knowledge of US GAAP and local GAAP.
• Experience preparing or overseeing financial statements and statutory reports with local auditors across jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end oversight and coordination of annual statutory reporting across international entities, including US GAAP to local GAAP adjustments and filings.
• Lead and develop a team of direct reports through coaching and clear priorities.
• Review close deliverables for balance sheet areas and ensure accuracy of reconciliations and entries.
• Deliver monthly management reporting and executive reviews for Finance leadership.
• Partner with Technical Accounting on US GAAP treatments and advise business partners.
